My name is David Owen and I am here to help you to Rise above and move beyond life's problems, to Feel Good under virtually any circumstances, to Excel Yourself and to Inspire Others.
I got into this work because my life was not working. My schooling had been a disaster and I was tipped out into adult life with almost no confidence and painfully shy. By a miracle I got married at 23, but this only lasted for four years, leaving me separated from my two very young children.
It was time to repair my life and I found that first the Alexander Technique and later Neuro-Linguistic Programming made a massive difference to me. Despite having eventually got a superb job in the BBC, I left in order to train to share the benefits of what I had discovered.
I am passionate about my work. It is one of the world's greatest privileges to be able to genuinely help people, especially when they sometimes achieve such great victories and breakthroughs in their lives.
Communication and Understanding and Motivating others
Once we know how to feel good, we can start to spread the feeling to others.
Many people have tried getting what they want by manipulating, ordering or bullying others. They simply did not know how to make someone feel good and make them enthusiastic about helping them.
Communication is every bit as much about listening to the other person, understanding the overall situation and even being able to see things from their point of view, even if you do not agree with them. I have specific and very effective ways for you to be able to do this much more clearly and accurately than usual.
We also need to understand how communication really works. Language has a hypnotic quality and so many of us have thrown away opportunities by unwittingly saying the wrong thing. When you know how to say the right things in the right way, you not only get much more of what you want, you create far better understanding, you sometimes even help people to automatically unravel their own problems and you make people feel good about helping you.
